Adults from Lynnhaven, Rosemont, Little Neck, Kings Grant, Green Run, and nearby 23452 can train in Okinawan Shorin-ryu at CoVA Karate. This guide describes the adult class practice and gives the address and schedule.
Class practice includes posture, footwork, balance, coordination, timing, and body awareness. Students study fundamentals and kata, then work with partners to explore distance, timing, and how movements connect.
Kata provides repeatable material for studying movement and structure. Partner practice adds feedback and helps students work with another person’s movement. Instruction emphasizes clear movement, correction, and gradual skill development through regular practice.
